About Málaga P1 2026

The Málaga P1 2026 is a P1 event on the Premier Padel 2026, held in Málaga, Spain, from 13 July – 19 July 2026. It is event 13 of 26 on this season's circuit.

P1 events sit just below Major level in the Premier Padel hierarchy. They attract the world's top-ranked players and carry significant ranking points — a strong result at a P1 can transform a pair's season standings and their seeding for the year-end finals.

Spain is the global home of padel. The sport took root here in the 1970s at the Marbella Club and spread across the country within a generation. Spain now has more padel courts per capita than anywhere else in the world, and Spanish players — both men and women — have dominated the professional game for decades.

About the Premier Padel 2026

Premier Padel is the top tier of professional padel, operated under the umbrella of the International Padel Federation (FIP). Launched in 2022, it has grown rapidly to become the definitive world tour for padel professionals, with events across five continents. The 2026 season features 28 events, culminating in the season-ending World Padel Championship.

Rankings are calculated across all Premier Padel and FIP events, with the top four players per pair qualifying for the season-ending finals. For a full breakdown of how the season works, prize money structure, and what to watch at each event, see our Premier Padel 2026 season guide.
